Dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. Avoid phone & watch if possible else keep them on need basis. Decide on a route or go random. Try unexplored roads, path, parks.
Begin walking slowly taking a half step with every cycle of breath (inhalation & exhalation). So, it heel first (half-step) and ball of foot (half-step). Your pace will be extremely slow. Allow any sort of natural sound deepen your relaxation in body and mind. Keep your eyes lowered and directed straight ahead. Don’t look from side to side.
Bring to mind the problem that you can’t seem to solve. Visualize that each step you take is bringing you closer to a solution.
Then focus on your dilemma: For example, if you are not sure whether you should go back to college, imagine for a five–or–ten-minutes stretch that you have made the decision to go back to college. See how that feels to your body and mind.
For the next five-or-ten-minutes, switch to making the decision not to return to college. Notice how that feels to your body and mind.
Now for the rest of your walk, invite an unknown third solution to arise. For example, another solution, besides going or not going to college, may be getting on-the-job-training or an apprenticeship. Open yourself to a creative surprise.
